We spent the 3rd of July in Liberty Bay/Poulsbo again this year! It's a huge celebration and always so much fun. The fireworks are amazing and it's always so nice to get together with some of our closest friends. On the fourth we took Ghost back to our slip and drove down to Olympia to head out on our friends Bob, Shari, Sydney, & Annie's boat S/V Pearl. We spend the night of the 4th at Boston Harbor, a small anchorage and marina just outside of Olympia. The kids spent the evening watching the various private firework displays that surrounded the harbor:

The next day we headed to McMicken Island. We all headed ashore to do some exploring. The kids were so happy to be together:

S/V Pearl at McMicken Island:

It was a beautiful day and when we all returned to the boat, everyone decided to go for a swim:

Shari ended the day painting one of her beautiful paintings aboard Pearl. It's such a cool thing watching her create these priceless pieces of art:

It was a short trip with the Buelt gang, but we enjoyed ourselves immensely aboard Pearl.
Later in the week Scott and Zak headed up to the Arlington Air Show to spend a boys day filled with airplanes, airplanes, and more airplanes:

Towards the end of the month, Scott's parents left Wisconsin in their brand new home (a Dutch Star Motorhome) to begin their own adventure since retiring. You can check out their travels through their website, www.tininthewind.com . The kids were so excited for Grandma & Grandpa to arrive at Scott's brother's house in Maple Valley:

We have been having so much fun hanging out with them in the parks around the Seattle area:

It's really good having them around and July was a great month. Like every month, it went by way too fast.
